Hi, welcome to the next installment of “ The Deeper Side Of Bass” blog.
As always, great music has been released through March. Regular readers know that this blog is all about the tracks that I personally feel stood out, next to other producers within the scene.
Meditation EP by Various Artists released on Tribe 12 Records. Tracks on this EP have been doing the rounds on the Minimal D&B scene for a little while now, Tracks such as Tribe have been doing damage in clubs, with a thumping kick drum and heavy sub low bass. For those of you who like Roots Reggae Music will like this EP as tracks like Knowings & Intelligence by Reskript & Vodun by Codex emulating the vibes found on a Root’s cut, and emulating it well.

Blue Motion recently released a free track called Silver Dust & Gold Daze, via their soundcloud page. This track is deep, with low bass tones and subtle melodic sounds are ideal for that chill out moment. Visit their soundcloud page to get your copy http://soundcloud.com/bluemotion
Zoku – Amoss: Freebie released by the duo. Zoku is a minimal drum & bass tune that has a hint of dubbyness to it, which will no doubt have your head bopping to the bass and drum. Dance floor kru keep your ears close to the speakers for this one. Tripwire / The Rain – Rockwell:
Released on Shogun Audio, These tracks are set to do some damage on the minimal D&B scene for sure. Although Tripwire is an awesome track, The Rain is the track for me, as it takes you into the weird world that is Rockwell’s brain. The percussion& piano melodies in this track along with the reversing elements makes it an instant hit for me.
